One is welcomed to the home by a circular vehicle courtyard centered on the water feature and back dropped by the ochre plastered façade, totara shutters, clay roof tiles and dominate chimney stacks. The interior is exquisitely crafted and detailed; as on the exterior, materials are authentic and dramatic. Entering the home through oversized native timber doors exposes a curved stair which feeds to multi directions of the home. Ground floor provides primary living spaces organized around a double height dining room with connection to the gardens and orchard through an alfresco space. Upstairs, teenagers have their own wing including a large lounge and bedrooms linked by a generous bathroom. Adjacent to the dining void, a study and crafts room for the owners.
