Yvette Stride is an Australian artist, residing in Beijing, China. Completing a Bachelor’s degree in visual art from Queensland University of Technology and working professionally as an underwater videographer for many years, led to the creation of this collection, which heralds the underwater realm as a place for spiritual evolution.
Yvette’s ‘Nadi Series’ is an amalgamation of her experiences associated with yogic and scuba diving breathwork, referencing the three main channels running up the ethereal body. She is primarily interested in artmaking as a tool to take an inner journey. Exploring connections to the metaphysical world through dreams, rituals and symbolisms associated with eternity.
