The Durapanel Structural Ceiling System is a complete ceiling surface that typically runs continuously over the Durapanel walls or can be applied to a conventional build constructed over traditional timber or steel framing. The ceiling sheets consist of 18mm or 15mm Solid Strand Core with smooth fibreboard outer layer.
The large format panel size (4.0m x 2.45m) replaces traditional batten and plasterboard methods with a single solid diaphragm which is straight, smooth and very easy to install. The Durapanel ceiling system is incredibly strong and achieves a quality paint finish. Cutouts for downlights can also be planned and pre-drilled in the controlled factory environment saving significant time for the electrician onsite.
Durapanel Ceiling panels are precision cut using CNC Technology in a controlled factory environment and delivered to site in flatpack kitset form. Fast and efficient installation is carried out by competent Licensed Building Practitioners. The solid ceiling platform provides a substantial working surface for tradespersons and assists with the installation of the roof structure and services. The platform provided negates the need for safety nets.
Ceiling panels have a unique jointing system and affix to the roof trusses/framing with proprietary brackets and connectors.
The Ceiling System is BRANZ Appraised and meets the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC) to have a Durability performance requirement of not less than 50 years
